Nigeria to compete in EFA U21 World Cup

All 24 teams involved in the EFA U21 World Cup will, today, begin their campaign at exactly 10 pm, including the seven African countries. The matchday one fixtures present a host of mouth-watering encounters with Germany set to face Brazil in the Group D opener.

For the African participants, Ghana will face Paraguay, Angola will face Colombia, while Nigeria will face France in the opener of Group B.

All 24 teams will be keen on securing a victory in the round 1 matches in order to have a better chance of qualifying to the round of 16 of the competition.  The top 2 countries in each group and the best third-placed countries will qualify for the round of 16 of the tournament.
